TMGE currently has a job opening for a Business Development Representative. To be located in Elkwood, VA.

A general summary of required expertise follows.


TMGE is actively recruiting for an experienced government services Business Development Manager. As a successful hire you will be responsible for identifying potential opportunities with both new and existing customers. TMGE’s target markets focus on the Federal Government, to include both DoD and Civilian Agencies. Our goal is to tailor solutions for a diverse range of Government clients. Responsibilities will also include: maximizing the company’s presence within the Federal Government markets; performing sales and lead generation efforts; utilizing the Government provided tools, in efforts to discover RFPs that are viable candidates for TMGE’s areas of expertise; and develop and execute programs that showcase our capabilities and ensure the effectiveness of our message to clients, and prospects. Often, the work will require working directly on recurring initiatives, providing coordination and deliverables as needed.

The successful hire must also have experience in qualifying potential opportunities within the Government sectors. The individual must be competent in organizing and composing Government structured solicitation responses and proposals. Experience in interpreting and comprehending technical requirements is a necessity.

The level of practical experience for this job must include:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years government services and/or IT related development marketing experience.
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • The position will require an ability to work on a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time.
  • Computer activities include reading, reviewing and analyzing information, as well as providing recommendations,       summaries, and reports in written or verbal format.
  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel.
